IT M&A Integration & Separation Lead – UK/Europe

Job Description

Grey Ring is expanding its network of experienced IT M&A Integration and Separation professionals supporting acquisitions, divestitures and carve-out programmes across the UK and Europe.

We are interested in specialists who have worked directly on technology integration or separation programmes and understand the operational requirements surrounding Day 1 readiness, Transitional Service Agreements and the transition to standalone operations.

Typical responsibilities

• Lead technology workstreams across acquisitions, integrations, separations and carve-outs.
• Assess existing application, infrastructure and data landscapes.
• Define Day 1 requirements and transition plans.
• Develop integration or separation roadmaps.
• Identify dependencies, risks and critical-path activities.
• Support TSA definition, governance and exit planning.
• Coordinate application, infrastructure, data and security workstreams.
• Lead stakeholder discussions across IT and business functions.
• Manage programme plans, RAID logs and governance.
• Coordinate cutover and operational-readiness activities.
• Support transition into standalone or integrated operating environments.

Experience of interest

• Direct IT M&A, carve-out or separation experience.
• Day 1 readiness.
• TSA creation, management and exit.
• Application separation and integration.
• Infrastructure transition.
• Data migration and separation.
• Identity and access management.
• ERP / SAP separation or integration.
• Programme and workstream leadership.
• Supplier and third-party management.
• Senior stakeholder management.

Experience across SAP and enterprise application landscapes would be particularly relevant.
