SAP S/4HANA Data Migration Lead – USA

Job Description

Grey Ring is building its US network of senior SAP Data Migration professionals for S/4HANA transformation programmes.

We are particularly interested in specialists capable of taking ownership of the complete migration lifecycle rather than candidates whose experience is limited to individual extraction or loading activities.

Typical responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP data migration workstreams.
• Define migration strategy, scope, governance and delivery approach.
• Manage extraction, profiling, cleansing, transformation and loading.
• Coordinate master, transactional and historical data migration.
• Define reconciliation and data-validation controls.
• Lead migration workshops with business and technology stakeholders.
• Manage migration risks, dependencies and cutover planning.
• Coordinate functional, technical and data teams.
• Support mock migrations and dress rehearsals.
• Lead final cutover, validation and hypercare.
• Establish data-quality and migration governance.

Experience of interest

• Strong SAP S/4HANA data migration experience.
• Multiple ERP/SAP transformation programmes.
• SAP Migration Cockpit and relevant SAP migration tooling.
• SAP BODS or wider enterprise data-management platforms.
• Master-data and transactional-data migration.
• Data quality and reconciliation.
• Migration strategy and governance.
• Cutover planning.
• Functional understanding across areas such as Finance, P2P, O2C, Manufacturing or Supply Chain.
• Experience leading distributed or blended delivery teams.
